DaM: Design and Museums

Giovani Designer per i Musei Italiani

This project has as its main objective the contextualization of the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Siena in the museum reality of the 21st Century, paying close attention to the Italian and international museum panorama, constantly changing to accommodate new forms of art and design and new visitors and their needs. The proposal pinacoteca\21st (21st as in 21st Century) proposes that visitors and their experiences within the museum become the core of the project, and the use of tools such as signage, thematic routes in augmented reality, brochures and other print materials and the restyling of the welcome area to improve user experience within this important museum.

The full project proposal can be consulted in the digital publication at the bottom of this page.
